It's a...

So, I have Alli to thank for this idea! She'd seen someone's blog where they had this done with a cake to find out the sex of their baby so we decided to try it with cupcakes. We had our ultrasound this afternoon and had the tech write down the sex and put it in an envelope which we took to the bakery and had them fill the cupcakes with either blue or pink frosting. It was torture not finding out at the ultrasound, but in the end it was so much fun and well worth the wait!

Here we go...

And...

It's A Girl!!!

We are so excited!! We can't wait to meet our new little baby girl. June can't come soon enough! We love you baby!

Welcome back!

Holy moly, I can't believe it's been 2 months since I last blogged. Blame it on Facebook! There's so much to catch up on...where to begin?
December...
We headed to Spokane to do a little Christmas shopping and stayed in Kellogg, ID at the Silver Mountain Waterpark the first night. Jack and Joey were sooooo excited they were running around the hotel room screaming! Kevin's parents also happened to be going to Spokane that weekend so they joined us at the waterpark the first night. Poor papa...he had no idea what he was in for! Let's just say he could barely walk the next morning:)

And then, are you ready? We went to...
The Imagination Movers!!!!

So, I haven't been to many concerts in my life, but let me tell you, this was by far my favorite!! (Yes, The Wiggles concert was my second favorite, but what can I say? Kids concerts are AWESOME!!)

Yes, Rich is my favorite:)
Then, we started getting ready for Christmas! I know it's a funny looking snowman - I had issues lifting up the snow balls!

Blade, Alli and Mason came home for Christmas and helped us build gingerbread houses.

And then we had a very merry Christmas! It was so wonderful to have Blade, Alli and Mason with us to celebrate! The kids loved playing with Mason (and so did I) and we miss them all like crazy.
Other than that, life has pretty much been back to normal. Oh, except for one thing...
Baby #3 is on the way!
We're due the beginning of June and can't wait! I have my 18 week ultrasound pretty soon, so we'll keep you updated!

Football, Playdoh and Halloween Preview

We went to Carroll's homecoming game a few weeks ago and Joey was really excited to be a cheerleader. Even more exciting? She actually let me french braid her hair!! (I was very excited about this - not the best job, I know, but exciting nonetheless!)

I haven't gotten our playdoh out in about 6 months (because I hate the mess that's involved and it seems like I'm the only one who ever cleans it up) and Jack asked me the other day if we were ever going to get to use playdoh again. Needless to say, I felt pretty bad so we broke it out and I almost immediately regretted it! But, they had fun, so that's all that matters...right?!

This is the third costume I've gotten for Joey...she just can't seem to make up her mind! There will not be any more costume changes, however:) She makes a very cute Minnie Mouse!
