Happy Birthday Joey Girl!

I can't believe my baby girl is 2! What a precious gift she is :) We had her family party last night and she was so excited! My dad and grandpa were here from Minnesota and it made me so grateful to have all our family together. I know Jack and Joey love being able to see their cousins, grandparents, etc. and everyday I feel blessed to be in Montana where we can be with family.

Okay, so I am really embarassed about this cake! It was a cute idea, but our house was so hot yesterday that the frosting kept running and I had to keep putting it in the freezer to stiffen up. Not that that's my only excuse, I also am just not a cake decorater! But Joey seemed to like it!

Just can't stay caught up!

I don't know why, but I seem to be having a hard time staying on top of blogging lately. It could have something to do with Facebook...:)

Alive @ Five...

We went to Alive at Five for the first time last week after Jack's t-ball game. In two years we'd never gone and I'm glad we went! They have music, dancing, food and a bouncy house all at a park downtown. Joey LOVED dancing to the music and got dizzy from twirling in circles! Jack was a little tired from his game so he wasn't quite as excited.

I just loved these last two shots. It always makes me smile when the kids play nicely together! Lately it seems these moments are few and far between, so I figured I'd better take advantage of this rare opportunity. Also - Joey is getting girlier by the minute and I LOVE it!!! She loves to dress up, play Barbies, watch The Little Mermaid and have tea parties. She even lets me paint her toe and finger nails! Thank goodness we had a girl and a boy! They absolutely complete me.
