Well, we're finally getting some nice weather and decided to take advantage of it today. We went to the park this morning and watched the Hot Rod Parade downtown. Jack rode in it with Papa last year and missed being able to do it, but he still loved seeing all the cars.
My parents brought dinner over later and Oma baked cookies with the kids. She brought frosting and sprinkles, too...enough said.
All in all, it was a good Saturday. We miss Kevin like crazy but are so thankful that he is able to be with his mom as she recovers from surgery. She seems to be doing well and wish her a healthy, speedy recovery.

Yay for sunny weather finally! The park looks like so much fun! Glad mom and Glen brought you guys dinner and hung out for a little bit. The coookies look good, I'm going to have to make some too!! Oh and Joeys shirt is adorable (I thought it was a dress first but then saw shorts under it!)Anyways Mason miss you guys and we hope Kevin is home soon. LOVE YA
That is fun that you can get out a little bit. I am glad that you had some company. Your kids are so lucky to have your mom as a grandma, she must be so much fun! Cookies are the best.
