Birthdays, birthdays, birthdays!

Jack helped Alli blow out her candles in preparation for his own birthday...

which was shared with Uncle Kelly... (sorry about the tire cake, Kelly!)

and eventually Joey!
So now all that's left of all this birthday mania is Jack's race car party on Saturday, which I am very stressed out about...how come people don't R.S.V.P.???? It would make life so much easier to know one way or the other! Oh, well, Jack will have fun as long as Papa and Izzie are there! Wish us luck:)

Happy Birthday(s)!

Today my sweet little boy is 3!!! Can you believe it? I can't. It seems like just yesterday we found out we were pregnant with him, and now here it is 3 years and 2 kids later, and I couldn't imagine our lives any other way. I'm slow on getting pictures up, but I promise to post some soon. Today is also Kelly's, Kevin's brother, birthday. Happy Birthday, Kelly!

This was a busy month for birthdays. My dad and Kevin's sister, Stacey had birthdays at the beginning of the month and Alli had her 24th birthday on Saturday. My little sister is all grown up!! I'm so happy she could be with us to celebrate, although I know she misses her husband (who is on deployment) like crazy.

We are having a race car party for Jack this weekend so I am busy scrambling to put the finishing (and beginning) touches on everything. It is amazing how much work and effort (and $) goes into a child's birthday. But I must say it is definitely worth it to see their little faces light up! So...a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all in the month of October, especially our little man, Jack:)

This is what happens when...

I start cooking and forget to check on the kids every few minutes...

I have a pregnant sister who wants to satisfy her cravings at my house...

We have donuts and read the Sunday paper.

Fall Art

I don't know if it's the changing weather or all the fall decorations around town, but I've been on a huge (fall) art kick lately! Jack gets so excited for art that it's practically all he wants to do for the entire day. As you can see, it's a whole body activity, so clothing is not an option. Joey has just started to take an interest, but she wasn't too sure what to think about the paint. The first few pictures I took were her crying for me to wash her hands! She doesn't like to be messy like Jack...she's such a princess:)

Jack has been really excited about window clings for the holidays so he tends to set aside time each day to rearrange them on the window. He and our next door neighbor, Izzie -helping Jack rearrange the leaves, just love eachother! They always run to give hugs when they see eachother and act like it's been months since they've seen one another (even though they play all the time!) They are just so darn cute!

Long ago...(but not so long ago)

I have been sooo bad about blogging lately! I barely have time to sit down and check my email these days so I have a lot of catching up to do with this blog. Let's see what we've been up to the past month...

Go Saints!

We went to the Carroll College homecoming game 2 weeks ago and had so much fun!

We've been hanging out with Alli and doing our daily shopping, art, etc...

But mostly we've just been enjoying fall! Montana is so beautiful this time of the year, with leaves falling and the mountains dusted with the first snow of the season. We are truly blessed to be back in Montana with our family and friends. It makes me grateful to be here...to be home.
